Calls to 800-743-9576 Temporily Unavailable
I have never been able to call 800-743-9576. I get a message indicating it is temporarily unavailable. Every time I try I get through without any issues using my cell phone. Why is this number not operating via Ooma?
Thank you.
Thank you.

This number must be reachable only from immediate calling areas. Can not reach from WA for example. Do you have an Ooma number with area code/prefix far away from the Miami FL area?

I can't get through with the Telo, Office, or my cell phone.

Seems you have to be in Miami FL to reach it.Tuan wrote:I can't get through with the Telo, Office, or my cell phone.

Both my home and cell phone have the same area code, 954 which is from the neighboring county. 15 years ago it was all the same area code. So, it is considered in the Miami area.lbmofo wrote:This number must be reachable only from immediate calling areas. Can not reach from WA for example. By the way, I never had this problem calling from my home phone before I switched to Ooma. It was the same number and area code it is today. Thank you.martyoo wrote:Both my home and cell phone have the same area code, 954 which is from the neighboring county. 15 years ago it was all the same area code. Probably a carrier routing issue. You can try contacting customer service to see if it can eventually be resolved. Otherwise you may have to call on a local number instead, if available. I know that certain toll free numbers in Canada do not work and I have had to find others that do. There's usually a way around the issue.
Great thing with Ooma is that you can call anywhere in the US for free, so if a local number is available, there's no need to use an 800 number any longer.
