Logs on that day show that the telo failed to receive routes that it uses to place the call. This is a networking issue having to do with packet fragmentation. Frequently this is a transient problem. Placing the telo in front of the router can help with this. If it continues to occur call support, mention the 'no routes', they'll check the logs and will know what to do next.

Checked logs on this one and this has a different root cause. Only recourse is to reboot. I've entered a bug for it (21647).

I am having to reboot my ooma telo every 8 to 12 hours. Still getting a long delay then fast busy. What logs can I check to see what the problem is? About 1700 today I was trying to dial out and and then had a incoming call when it rebooted by itself.
Ooma Telo is at version 90411, advanced tcp/udp denied port 53 for basic and is advanced udp 123

I am having similar problems, for about the last month ir two,
and also have version 90411. Why is it not newer, like others report?

Sometimes, I can receive calls, but cannot make any, when I attempt to make a call, there is a delay, and then reorder (fast busy). The difference is that after a while it will clear up by itself.

Same problem in 2018. What a piece of garbage.

I didn't get this to save money. I just wanted a reliable phone system and my phone company, Frontier, does not care about customers, and cares even less about copper lines. They just have the lines long enough until the switch over to 5G.

Ooma customer service is worthless, just like these forums, full of desperate customers. 80% of the times my calls don't go through. I either get a busy signal or a disconnection recording. The support person changed it to 10-digit dialing, which caused horrible static on the line. Then he said he couldn't help anymore.

Is everything a giant rip off. Ooma is.

If rebooting every few hours works, you are lucky.

This is garbage.

DON"T BUY RETURN IMMEDIATELY!
