Used Ooma has Previous Owner's Data on My Ooma [resolved]
I called Ooma Support to have an Ooma to reactivate a used Ooma Telo. When I go into My Ooma, I see some of the previous owner's data. Shouldn't this have been cleared when the unit was reactivated?
I am seeing
Call logs - I deleted these
Voicemails - I deleted these
Preferences > Privacy: Caller name used for outbound calls - previous owner's name is here. Requires a call to Customer Service to change
Account > Billing Information (overwrote this with my own info)
Account > Billing History (cannot clear this)
Account > Porting Status See previous owner's name and account/porting info
I guess this is all fixable - my question should this old data even have been there in the first place?

I figured this out. The customer service person did not do the reactivation I had requested. They did a transfer. The previous owner gave me an Ooma sale reference number. I probably should not have passed that along. It confused the customer service person and ended up giving me a transfer of ownership instead of the reactivation I had requested.
