this is of no help. Ooma has said its going to update firmware to fix this problem . So far, no one has said they got it to work by doing any of these steps. It needs to be fixed by Ooma.

I just switched to Ooma this week. Also bought the Bluetooth adapter because the ability to answer my iPhone from any of my four new HD2 handsets was very appealing. When it didn't work, I struggled with research and setup for a few days before discovering this forum. Very frustrating, but at least now I know it's nothing I've done wrong in the setup. I'm paired to the Telo, and can answer calls, but get dead air both directions when I do. Last post I see on this is from early January. Is anyone aware of any further progress in resolving this problem?

They still have not fixed it, according to a follow up of my October support ticket

I received an email from Ooma Support today. See their email and my (responses) below.

Dear Customer,

We are still investigating this issue. Looks like an issue with iOS 10. (Talked at length with Apple Support. They said if Bluetooth Adapter is successfully pairing with my iPhone (which it is), the problem is more than likely with the Telo.)

In the mean time, kindly check if 'Allow incoming Bluetooth audio transfer' option is enabled on your Telo system. (It is now–see below)

To check:
-Connect a computer into Telo's Home Network port (Did that)
-Once the computer detects he new ethernet connection, browse to http:172.27.35.1. It should pull up the Ooma Setup page. (Did that)
-Click on Bluetooth and make sure 'Allow incoming Bluetooth audio transfer' is checked. (It was not checked, so I checked it. Saved settings and then rebooted my Telo. Still having the same problem reported to you.)

Also, we would like to know if the audio problem is specific only to the hd2 handsets? Does the audio works okay if you answer from a regular analog phone in telo's phone port? (Connected a hard wired phone to the Telo phone port. Still having the same problem reported to you.)

(This is very frustrating. Cell phone connectivity with Ooma is one of the main features that attracted me to Ooma.
I read on the forums that this is a known Ooma problem. So what’s the next step?)

I'm losing confidence and suspect that they are not able to fix this!

Here's the most recent response I received from Ooma Support on Friday, 2-14-17

Dear Customer,

We have identified this issue as bug. No ETA for fix. But it will be most likely in high priority as a considerable number of our customer base are using iOS with bluetooth. Hopefully a fix will be available on our next firmware update.

Sincerely,
Ooma Customer Care Specialist

it's been over 4 months and no fix. So glad to hear its high priority. Can't imagine if it was low priority.

I have an iPhone 6splus, and called in this iOS 10 bug several months ago, and it appears to still not be fixed. Very disappointing. Ooma, please fix this and notify us when done.

Thanks for the reply,

However, I have perused the articles you quoted and seemed to have found the only possible solution is to forget the Ooma Bluetooth connection and try to pair the device again. Does this work? Please provide possible solutions.
