Google Voice Invites

This is where it becomes confusing to me. If my Ooma number is 000-111-2222 and I forward this number to Google voice. Would I not be creating a loop if I then select this number as one of the numbers Google voice will ring when someone calls 000-111-2222. I have no idea what will happen, but I have a feeling it's not going to be good.

I am not sure how I will use Google voice yet(I hope I get my invite within 2 months). I have some ideas, but I will play around with it and find out what works for me. ;->

Well, we're still waiting for the Google Voice Extensions from Ooma, so we'll have to wait and see how it'll work.

I just received my invite to GV and I've played around with it a little. I did not try forward/multi-ring to GV yet and you're right it could cause a loop depending on how it's setup.

How long did it take to get the google invite?

Several months for me, but I signed my wife up 2 or 3 weeks ago and we just got that invite too. So I think they're rolling them out pretty quickly now.

I must be a first because I didn't even apply for GV, however, I'am very thankful that I received it.
