Tom
What is the status if the fix? It's been over 5 months since Ooma has been informed of thus issue. All my other Bluetooth devices, even ones years old, work

You're saying other BT devices you have work ok with iOS 10.3.1? Our current BT stack works with iOS 9.3.5. We're in the process of upgrading this stack. No ETA at this time.

Yes. Every other bt device, including headphones, earphones, car radios all work. Why is it taking 6 months plus to fix?

I have been complaining of bluetooth issues for YEARS! I have the issue NOW with dead air, but valid connection. My iPhone 5S running 10.3.1 works with at least 10 other bluetooth devices with zero issues, some not had firmware updates for 4-5 years. Don't think it is an apple issue, I think OOMA did not code its bluetooth stack per industry accepted spec.

Latest is that upgrading our BT stack to the latest does not fix the problem. We will try to escalate the issue with Apple. They broke BT for many devices in iOS 10 and fixed most problems in iOS 10.2. As said our stack works fine with iOS 9.3.5.

Workaround for the problem is to answer the call on the iPhone, then select your Telo from the available BT devices. The telo will then ring and upon answer you should have audio both ways.

Tom. Thanks for your reply. However, this issue is over 6 months old and Ooma should have taken steps to contact Apple before now Why do all other BT devices work, even ones years old? Your solution negates the entire reason we have BT. If we need to answer a call on the cell phone, the Ooma BT is not necessary. The BT is used to answer on land lines phones when the cell is not available as when its in a charger and you are in another room etc. I hope Oooma does fix this soon. IOs 10 has been out since 10/16

Apple seemed to be on top of it, especially with legions of customers and companies like GM and Toyota escalating with them. Unfortunately the fixes they did for them did not fix the interoperability with our BT stack.

Over 8 months and no fix. All my other BT devices work with IOS 10. What's the hold up with Ooma? So much for making this a priority. When will we get what we paid for?
