It would be nice if we could upload an mp3 audio file containing our answer greeting rather than using the phone’s receiver. This would allow higher-quality quality, music and other niceties. Uploading custom icons and video is standard practice everywhere. Why not give us this option?
I’d appreciate a yes or no, please. No vague “we’ll look into it” replies, please.

Music would have to be Public Domain, would it not, or Ooma could be sued? The Ooma Office product requires one to acknowledge disclaimer and check the box stating you have rights to the music being uploaded. Adding music for consumer uses could present liability and lots of legal costs. We've seen it with other companies who allow its customers to upload or otherwise use copyrighted music without permission, and once those hound lawyers realize Ooma is doing this, such a feature will probably have to be taken down.
