New user - Remote Phonebook?
We are a small business and are testing out the Ooma Office system. We have some Yealink T21P E2 phones.
On our previous PBX system we had a master speed dial list which everyone could access.
In the Ooma phones, each phone has its own directory. I found a user manual online for the phones (the small Quick Start Guide that came with the phones is very limited) and it mentions a feature called Remote Phone Book. This sounds similar to what we had before. The article says "If the Remote Phone Book has been enabled by your system administrator, you can access your corporate directory directly from your phone". First of all, I believe I am the administrator but I have not idea how to do this.
Is this one of the "advanced features" that we are not allowed to mess with?
