Outgoing call using bluetooth headset

Post by snarbles » Sun Oct 20, 2019 2:41 pm

I successfully paired my Telo Air 2 with my Bose headset. I try to dial an outgoing call starting with *15 then the number but it just rings and does not successfully call the other number.

What is the correct procedure to call out using a 3rd party headset from a Telo Air 2?

I think it’s a bug, because it just keeps ringing but never actually calls the other number...very strange.

I'm having the same problem. Has anyone identified the issue?

OK I Figured it out and yes adding bluetooth to the old Land Line is a killer feature.

Here is the process:
Pick up the handset attached to the OOMA:
Dial *15 then wait
Enter the number you want to call
THEN press the ANSWER BUTTON ON THE HEADSET to switch the call to the headset from the phone.
It will then finish ringing the outside number on the headset.
Assuming the other side answers...your call will be on the headset!
