Big 911 button in app
Well, it is April Fools Day...
Does the big "911" button in the phone app actually dial 911 immediately? I'm curious. Fortunately, I'm not one of those people who will walk into a nuclear power plan control room, see a big red PANIC button, and immediately push it. But, I am intensely curious.
Seems like a risky UI design choice. Also, it looks easy to configure the app to call 911 at the drop of a hat. I wonder if this is leading to many unintended calls to 911.
Enjoy the Fool's day! I count myself among the fools. I'm enjoying it.

Re: Big 911 button in app
I can understand the anxiety around the "911" button.
Good news: after you tap on the "911" button, another pop-up will appear, which will ask you to confirm whether indeed you want to 'Call for emergency for the xyz_address?". One will have to choose "OK" and "Cancel".

Ah, someone more daring that I, to tap on that button. Thank you for your help!
