Cannot receive calls

New service in BC, Canada. Blue light active, can place calls fine. Cannot receive any calls. All callers hear some variety of “number not in service.” Customer support has no suggestions and says it should be working. We need this for our buzzer and have not been able to use it for it’s only purpose this entire first week of having it.
Please escalate or let me know if I should just give up and return this, thank you!

Re: Cannot receive calls
Did you find a solution for your problem?
Re: Cannot receive calls
Hi,
There could be many reasons for the issue but here is one that comes to mind.
Did you go into my.ooma.com and set your system to only allow calls from your Contact list….and not have any numbers in the Contact list? That’s one way that would stop anyone from ringing your Ooma phone.

Re: Cannot receive calls
No I didn't. I actually turn off all Call Blocking just to be sure.
Re: Cannot receive calls
Hmmm…
I’m using a Telo 1 so I’m not sure how different or what unit you’re using.
Here are some other thoughts in case you didn’t always try:
A different phone (cordless or corded) connected to your Telo.
Reversing where you have the Telo connected, meaning if you currently have Internet>Router>Telo, switch to Internet>Telo>Router. It does work either way.
Be sure you have the RJ45’s connected to the correct jacks on the Telo. Internet and Home are not specific enough. (To me)
When you call your Ooma number from your cell, do you get the normal outgoing ringing sound on the cell? If you do, did you try to answer the call on the phone connected to the Telo, even though it’s not ringing?
Again, just some thoughts to rule out things.

Re: Cannot receive calls
Thanks for your help Red.
I am not connected with an RJ45. Wifi right now directly to the modem/router (It's integrated). I did tried with a cable without change.
When I call from my cell there is no ringing sound on it. After a while it says on my cell "Couldn't connect".
I will call ooma today. I don't think the problem is on my end.
