Name Displayed on Outbound Calls
Hi There,
Is there a way to change the "Name Displayed on Outbound Calls"? I would like it to display my company name and not my personal name but I can't see how to change it.

I believe you'd have to call in to or e-mail ooma Support and ask them to make the change.

Yes! It is true! you need to call customer support and get ready to pay for that change. Yes, it is possible to change your outgoing name by paying a fee. Give customer service a call and have your credit card ready.

Thank you Scots and Mystore8. I'm not sure that calling is the answer since I seem to never get through. I'll try email. Something's not right about having to pay to change the name. It should be available in the Lounge. Oh Well.

The charge for changing or customizing the caller-ID name is $11.99. Unfortunately changing a caller-ID name is not a zero-cost action for us, otherwise we'd just allow it for free.
Having the ability to customize the caller-ID name from the Lounge is something that should be automated in the near future.
