Fax Challenge

I need help on this. I upgraded my ooma hub to telo. Hub works fine received and transmit on my fax Brother MFC-490CW. Now with this telo I cant received but it can transmit. My fax machine display "Receiving"for a minute or so, then a quick chirp then it hungs up. On fax journal report indicates NG:Poor line condition/ out of memory. Fax memory is empty and line connection I did was a split. One for fax and other one for telephone. I called Tech support I was advise to reboot, reduce fax modem speed, try other connection. I did all of those,still can't get to received. Please help on this situation before I decide to return this Telo.
