Lifetime Premier ? Mod. Help

Post by funone46 » Mon Dec 07, 2009 3:31 pm

It started with a call on 11-25 to get lifetime premier, 12-2 have not seen or heard anything so called again I was moved from annual to core. Still not showing lifetime. Now on 12--7 called again and was told even though my ooma says core, I really have lifetime premier. Not sure why this takes so long when others have it done while on the phone. I was told it would be done by 12-24. I do not think this takes a month.
(any moderator help would be nice.) :?
Thanks

I had exactly the same thing happen Dave, don't worry it will show up as lifetime premier in another day or two at the most. I will bet you purchased the lifetime before your free 60 days of premier was over. For some reason they wait until your 60 days it up, the transfer you back to core and then lifetime in the next couple of days. I was told it has to revert to core before they can do the lifetime upgrade. I have no idea why, that is just there way of doing things. If your account says core now as mine did a few weeks ago you only have a short wait.

I'm in the same "boat" Captain (lol).
My process started on 10/28/09. STILL no switch to lifetime.
After multiple calls along the way ("check it again in two days") someone on 11/13/09 told me about the account reset that is required and that I would see change by 12/7/09. Well its 12/8/09. Given the response in this thread I'll give it a few more days before calling again but man... this is frustrating. And yes I attempted to switch before my trial was complete.

If any mod. does happen to check this my service ticket # is: CS18720

I'll ask our support team to take a look at what's the hold-up. Right now it's a very cumbersome process to upgrade to Lifetime Premier if you're already in an active Premier subscription.

Lifetime Premier is just Premier at the $99/year correct?

Not correct. It costs about $350 and includes a 3 year warranty (from date of purchase of the equipment) for the hardware.
Dennis P told me in an email on 12/2 that he expected their systems to be able to handle it by the end of next week. That would be the end of this week.

I wish I got a bonus... I didn't want to port my number...and I don't have a telo...

:(

It would be nice to have some alternative (like an extra scout or something)...
