Also - take a look at this switch by Trendnet. It is less that half the price of the other switches ($11.98). I haven't used it, but gets a five rate on Amazon from 51 customers.

Thanks for all of your help guys!

I've got a network switch installed and all is well. No more call-outs from my DVR and DirecTV VOD is up and running. My Call Log is now nice and clean.
