changing phones while on a call

Post by hitchens97 » Mon Mar 09, 2009 9:43 pm

So I have a regular phone attached to my ooma main, and a set of cordless to my scout. If I pick up a call on my regular phone then want someone else in the house to pick it up from one of our cordless they can't - it seems to go to a second line (even though I don't have the enhanced service).

The phones work just fine for dialing out.

You can hit flash after you hear dialtone on your cordless phones connected to the Scout. That will signal the Scout to switch to line 1 and "party" into the existing call. If you are near the ooma Scout itself, you can also just hit the line 1 button. Flash is essentially the "switch line" button.

Thanks Denis - but how come I even have a second line - I'm not ooma premier and I've past 60 days
