When does changes to phone line propagate?

Problems using My Ooma? Ideas on how we can make it better? You’ve come to the right place.

When does changes to phone line propagate?

Hi,
I ordered both Ooma and U-verse, which ended up in my house the same day (yesterday). I have currently ported my regular landline to U-verse while I test out the quality of Ooma (it is good!). However, I was not able to call my landline# (that is now U-verse number). Yesterday, calling my number from Ooma to the landline would result in ring-tone on Ooma phone by no rings on my landline. This morning, when I call my landline# I get a message saying the number has been disconnected. I can call my landline number from other services (ATT landline servcie, ATT cell, T-mobile cell, office line). So I am wondering how long does it take for Ooma to update its routing info (or is it Ooma or ATT that has outdated information?)

Never mind. It seems to work now. So roughly 24 hours.
