Installation possible without a router?
I am about to install my Ooma Telo, but I can find no instructions anywhere on how to install
if all you have is a cable modem. They talk about what to do if you have a router or an
integrated modem/router, but I have neither.
I just have one desktop computer connected to a broadband cable modem for internet access (6mb/sec).
Is a router absolutely necessary for some reason? Am I out of luck?

A router will makes things easier for you but not required.
Just hook up your pc into ooma HOME port, and connect your modem into MODEM/to internet port on the Telo.

Hook the home port to an ethernet switch and then any computers or devices to the switch.Sterno wrote:I am about to install my Ooma Telo, but I can find no instructions anywhere on how to install
