Type ipconfig/release
type ipconfig/renew

type ipconfig/all

now you should see that your LAN ip address has a 172.27.35.xxx
If you do not have an IP in this address range you will never connect to the OOMA hub.

Now open a web browser and go to 172.27.35.1

Make sure your ethernet connection is connected to the port marked HOME. This is all Just very basic networking skills.
Um...what's a web browser?

Seriously, thanks for the suggestions but I tried all of that well before I resorted to posting on the forums.

I'm typing this from my work laptop, which is having the same issue with setup.ooma.com (I tried Firefox, IE, and Chrome). So, at least I know it's not a client/browser issue; it must be something with the Hub.

I'm going to try the hard reset now.

Did you turn your wireless off? I had a similiar issue with mine. After I turned my wireless off and reestablished an IP everything worked fine.

I did. In fact, wireless is disabled on my work laptop (for security reasons).

Longshot:
Disconnect your ooma hub from your network. Of course the blue light will go red.
Plug your laptop into the HOME port of the ooma hub and try to connect now. Any difference?

This sounds like a firmware issue. Gator, you probably need a firmware update or a new OOMA hub.

Let us know how customer service goes.

It really sounds like an issue with the built in webserver. May need a new hub.
That's why I figured if he could disconnect from the network, maybe the hub webserver would work.
Like I said: Longshot!

Gator,

Let's try running a sniffer trace with wireshark to see what information the Hub is returning when attempting to browse to other pages on setup.ooma.com.

I'll send you some instructions on collecting this information.
