My ooma hub is in the process of number porting. The question is: Can I still get dsl from the phone company after ooma takes over the phone number?

Yes, it is called Dry-Loop DSL, which means you get DSL service without your phone service.

You are probably wondering whether porting a number would leave your DSL service intact. I've requested folks to chime in here: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=8319#p61279 We'll see if anyone reports.
