I have a core system I just activated. I would assume the free included (basic) voicemail is recorded serverside. If that is the case why couldn't they just keep on recording voicemail when the ooma is unplugged?

It is on the server and they do record voice mail if your hub is offline.

Re: where is voicemail stored?
It has to be offline long enough for the server to know that it has gone away.
At least 5 minutes are required.
Yes I have Premier.

Ok Thanks. One would think as soon as the server gets a call and tries to ring through to the core/telo and it doesn't answer back that it would be a good sign it was down...
