Multiple phones - conference call?

With ooma when a call come in and is answered, we cannot pick up another phone and listen in - conference call like. Only one phone per call? Is this right? We have a hub and scout.

When you pick up the phone connected to the scout it will select line 2. Push the line 1 button on the scout to switch to line 1 or pushing the flash button on your phone may also switch to line 1.

They say that outgoing voice quality on the phone connected to the Scout isn't as good as the ones directly connected to the Hub; not much difference to me but I can tell it is more staticky.

Instead of using the phone port on the Scout to connect an additional phone, I'd look into distributing Ooma dialtone throughout your house. You can even mix in the HPNA signal from Hub's wall port into the dialtone before you distribute so you can either plug in a phone or a scout at any phone jack.
