ooma and the do not call list

Post by Nathan 1 » Tue Dec 21, 2010 6:45 pm

Ive had ooma now for less than a week and I am all of a sudden bombarded with telemarketers messing up some serious needed sleep in all of my family. I have now set the settings to high to block the trash.

Does the national do not call list work with the ooma set-up ???????? I have registered and hope it will.

Any feed back here?

Yes it works but it will be a minimum of 3 months after you register a number before it takes effect.
The Ooma number blocking system is better since it can block all of the categories that the "Do not call" list doesn't block.

cool! I was receiving 800 call stuff and wasnt quite sure how to block it. I just saw how you can raise the settings but didnt want to eliminate my nessesary calls as well.
