multipal phones

Post by najtuna » Wed Dec 22, 2010 11:54 am

I just hooked up my Ooma. It is working on the phone I have it hooked up to, but I can't make calls from any of my other phones. I was told that if I purchased a phone with other units then I could make calls from any of the units. Is this true?

If you get a phone with multiple handsets such as the DECT 6.0 phones out there, only the base needs to be plugged into your Ooma (all the handsets will get a dialtone from the base).

Or you can look into distributing dialtone throughout your home: viewtopic.php?t=6853

If you activate jacks in your house, the base for cordless phones can be anywhere there is a phone jack. I don't have any phone at all plugged into my Ooma Telo. I have my base Panasonic in the kitchen and extensions elsewhere.

Love it !!
