Call Routing Issue
I got a new AT&T cell number and when I either call my father in-law's home number or my home number, both which are Ooma ported numbers, from my new cell number I get a recording that the number is unallocated. Same happens when I try to call from home to the new cell number.
Calling support was kind of useless. I am hoping someone can kindly help me out. It rather very frustrating when you have kids trying to call there dad (me) on his cell phone and can't.
A side note, I have a free secondary number, though a 916 area code on my system. I call that number and it works just fine. The secondary personal number was generated by Ooma when I picked it out.
Thanks

Re: Call Routing Issue
Do you have other AT&T cell to try with?
Where did your and inlaws' number get ported out of?

Yes, my wife has an ATT cell number, and she is able to call and receive calls just fine with the two Ooma numbers.
Re: Call Routing Issue
I think in this case, call AT&T and ask them why your new cell can't call a couple of working #s.
Other at&t numbers can call them but your new one can't.
