Landline call-forward issue

Post by mlb » Thu Jan 20, 2011 4:37 pm

I signed up for Ooma today, and I have initiated a port of my landline number.

In the mean time, I have my landline set to call-forward to my temporary Ooma number. The problem is that each time I get a call on the landline it is then jumping to my cell phone. I don't have it set as a call forward with Ooma, and if I dial the temporary Ooma number it goes through just fine. My cell phone is only listed in my profile, not as a forwarding option. Any ideas as to what could be causing the forward?

Did you enable Ooma call forwarding? Maybe try to enable, save, then 10, 15 minutes later, disable and try again.

Yeah, I tried messing around with those then totally removing them. It didn't seem to make a difference. I've set up my landline call-forward several times as well to make sure I wasn't stupid and set it to forward to my cell phone instead of my temporary Ooma number. It is a very weird situation.

I've seen this reported before. viewtopic.php?t=6124

Maybe you could email ntoy and have him take a look from the backend what could be wrong.
