Uverse router to firewall (Sonicwall 210) to High speed switch to ooma.
Unable to answer incoming calls, phone rings, system will not connect the call.
When I call out, the other person is unable to hear me and the system hangs-up.
I connected the ooma system directly to my uverse router and still the same issues.
The problem is probably because you don’t have a phone number assigned; or there are blocked ports, which will require opening ports in the Uverse router and/or Firewall, or use of DMZs; but first do the following:
Go into “My Ooma” Black lists, https://my.ooma.com/blacklists, and at least for now (testing), make sure that both blacklist boxes are not checked.
Go to Phone Numbers and make sure you "see" the phone number that is being called by the other end party.
In privacy make sure that at least for now (testing) that both boxes are unchecked.
While you are there, in System enable Ten Digit Calling. Than test.
