unable to place calls to cell phones

Post by amibelle » Wed Mar 23, 2011 4:31 pm

Hello,

My telo had been working fine for several months, but now I can't complete any calls to cell phones. Or at least the 4 different ones I've tried in the past week. I get, 'Sorry, but your call cannot be completed.'

Any ideas out there?

Thanks,

Amy

A follow up, in case this information is useful to anyone... customer care said I should try waiting on the line past the error message to see what happens and to my surprise, after the error message telling me the call cannot be completed, the call WAS completed! Ooma support said it's an unnecessary error message from AT&T's side.

Ooma comes through after all!

lbmofo: good question, it would be interesting to know what's not being recognized on AT&T's end.
