It shows
Feature Subscriptions
International Bundle
500 Minutes to 70 Countries Bundle

Does it mean I'm already subscribed to the 500 minutes plan? If so, how do I get to "re-charge"? Thanks again.

Yes, that means you are already subscribed. On a monthly basis, Ooma will take out $ from your credit card on file ($4.99 + FUSF tax).

You can see these charges here: https://my.ooma.com/account/billing_history

You don't need to put in any money in your prepaid account unless you want to call destinations outside of the 70 countries included in the 500 min plan or you go over 500 min.

https://www.ooma.com/products/internati ... #countries

In your prepaid history, you'll see the international calls with $0 cost if you called one of the 70 destinations included.

https://my.ooma.com/account/prepaid

In the prepaid history section, you can add funds to your prepaid account (if you want to call countries outside of the 70 included destinations).

Rememer this $4.99 500 min bundle will be removed if you decide to downgrade to basic later. So you'll have to choose another plan for basic members.

by default, starting ooma service you are going to be in a trial period for the Premier feature. You need to cancel before the trial ends. I just got my Premier and International bundle subscription cancelled, My Ooma account did reflect the changes, also with the billing history. I'm already satisfied using the basic service but hoping to get more out of International Bundles, customer service is great and helpful, unfortunately Philippines is not covered by the calling bundles, so i was charged at a standard rate.

lbmofo wrote:Guys, Philippines is not among the 70 destinations included in any Ooma international bundle. For the countries not included, your option would be the 1000 min plan which includes bulk rate (this bundle is only available to Premier). You have to do the math on whether paying $9.99 a month (to include bulk rate) plus getting charged Ooma's bulk rate per min for non included destinations such as Philippines is worth it for your situation.

70 destinations included: https://www.ooma.com/products/internati ... #countries
You can pick a destination and see the rates.

Okay lbmofo, I have the premier and use the 1000 minute a month $9.99 bulk plan. It still seems a lot cheeper for this plan than pay for phone cards.

Updates:
I called Ooma's customers support and have my "premier subscription" and International Bundle package cancelled, still waiting for my refund.

Still searching for a low fee, no monthly charges, international calling service.. If ooma beats this one $0.14/min Ph calls, i will surely signup for it! :D

Sorry to hear but until your situation changes, check out Google Voice. Once you sign up you can call your own Google Voice # using regular phone to dial out. Check out their rates. This is more hassle than direct dial but since you are going to have to dial some extra #s with OWTEL anyway, check it out.

I recently signed up for the 500 minute option. Supposed to be $4.99 per month. But was charged $5.89. Are there any taxes for the international bundle?

That's a mandated Federal Universal Service Fund (FUSF) fee that changes quarterly and usually ranges from 15 to 18%.
