Post by just4fn » Sun Jul 17, 2011 11:13 am

Anybody using clear wireless with Ooma? If so is it ok or not. I'm trying to find an alternative to comcast internet. Dsl is not in my area. Thanks for the info!

FYI Info Only:
I have tested with both AT&T and T-Mobile wireless, and they both work okay, just like any other Internet connection. The T-Mobile worked better because it was 4G wireless with higher bandwidths. My neighbour who has the AT&T 3G wireless service, is thinking about upgrading to 4G AT&T wireless service. If they do, I plan on testing the AT&T 4G wireless service also.

clearwire is advertising they are 4g now. I have read reviews on clearwire and they are less than spectacular. The reviews make it sound like once they have your money, you aren't getting it back.

Here is what experienced with a friend's Clear ISP service (I was surprised with how good Ooma Telo worked): viewtopic.php?f=4&t=5758&start=10#p71232
