I am getting busy signal dialing this certain number, 888-334-1000. If I use my cell phone, the number is not busy.

Some things that other people reported helped.

First:
If you haven't done this already, go into My Ooma, click on Preferences, then System, and enable Ten Digit Dialing and click on Save and test.

Second:
Try dialing *98-1-888-334-1000.

Third:
Contact Ooma Customer Support and report the problem that you are having.

Customer Support
Email: support@oomacare.com
Phone: 1-888-711-OOMA (6662)
Monday-Friday 7am-7pm PST
Saturday-Sunday 8am-5pm PST

Fourth:
Have someone at 888-334-1000 call their phone service provider and report that they can't be reached by a known active phone number (your Ooma phone number).

Sixth:
Power off the Ooma device for fifteen minutes. This allows time for the Ooma servers to reload your Ooma profile. Then repower the Ooma device and test.

We're looking into it. Looks like a routing error with one of our carriers.

Many toll free numbers are restricted to a specific geographical area. Is your Ooma phone number within the geographic area that the toll free number supports? It doesn't matter where you live. Could the local traditional phone company in the area that the toll free number supports issue that number?
