Can't get ooma back online after resetting modem

Post by number9 » Tue Apr 28, 2009 7:24 am

My internet was down (AT&T U-Verse). I reset the modem and now I can't get ooma back online. 1 and 2 buttons solid red, and tab Flashing red. Tried a power cycle, still nothing. No phone line. BUT!, the phone line from wall is still attached to ooma hub. I had this connected waiting for port to complete. Port completed. I did not want to unplug it now while I'm down. Not using a scout.
Modem is a 2wire modem/router in one. I have no wireless setup, only one desktop hard wired.
Thanks in advance.

1 and 2 buttons solid red means no phone line.

Log onto setup.ooma.com and see what the status is.

Checked set up ooma Connected, Running, everything seems fine. I glanced up at the hub and I'm blue. Well, the tab is blue. I am a happy ooma user!
Weird. I did another power cycle (5 minutes) and reset the modem. The hub went through it's set up and now I'm back online.
Second time in a week my internet went down. I believe it's an At&t problem.

I can unplug the line from the wall to the ooma hub now, since I have no land line correct?

Thanks Wayne!! You sir are the Mayor of ooma!!

I've been having a slow connection this morning on DSL. AT&T must be having problems in our area.

Did you have ooma WITH a landline?
If so, then disonnect and see if ooma goes red. If it does, you're not totally ported yet.

No land line. My port completed a few weeks ago.
My internet went down late last week. Yeah, I'm sure it's an AT&T thing.
Thanks for the help!
