Firmware 47785

Post by celblazer » Tue Oct 11, 2011 10:08 am

I see there have been a couple of firmware updates in Sept. But my unit is still on 47785. I know Ooma says it can take a couple of weeks but it's been almost a month since the Sept 15th update was released. Anything I can do?

Maybe you should contact Ooma Customer service and let them know that you have an older Ooma Telo firmware version, and request to be updated.

Check for the version of Ooma Telo firmware that you have by Dialing *#*#001. The firmware version audio comes out of your Ooma Telo Speaker after dialing *#*#001 in one of your phones.

If you have an Ooma Telo, try dialling without any prefix.

Within Five minutes a return fax will come back from the HP FAX test number 1-888-473-2963, to test the return side of your FAX.

Try adding a "pause" after *99.
*99 pause , then the number. Some have found success dialing it that way.

If I can figure out a way to input a "pause" but in listening to the dial tone, I can here is do a self pause of about 1 second after the *99. It dials the *99, then I hear a pause and a dial tone before it dials the fax number but I keep getting an error message, even after it says it is connecting and in some cases, transmitting, then it goes back to connecting, and so one for about 3-4 cycles before it quits.
