If your Ooma device only boots only to the blue line 1 & 2 and stops, and you see no more lights after that, on the face of the Ooma device, the bootloader has failed. There is little hope.

If your Ooma device is within the one year warranty period, contact Ooma Customer Support. They probably will send you a replacement Ooma device, shipping prepaid. They also send a prepaid shipping label to ship the defective Ooma device back.

Another Idea:
If you purchased your Ooma device from Costco or with a credit card, sometimes they will automatically warrant your Ooma device up to two years. You could check out that angle and see if you were covered. It won't hurt to check.

Mine was from Costco and is having the same problem after 20 months. How do I claim the warranty or prove it's from Costco? I can't find the receipt. Maybe they can track the sn#?

Update:
After I waited over 3 days, I got a classic answer from ooma support:
"About the lights, if what you have is a Telo, you just need to press the sun icon on the upper right to adjust the brightness of the device."
You guys should try that first :) .
No answer to the warranty issue yet.

Fascinating. :(

My OOMA just died the same way (1 & 2 light lit, steady blue). I'm also ~6 months out of warranty. Coincidence? I hope so.

I could buy another one but what's the point? If it's going to die in a year the cost isn't worth it.

When you remove power from the Ooma Telo, then repower the Ooma Telo, do you only see the Line 1 & 2 blue lights only, or do you also see other blue lights, when the Ooma Telo is attempting to boot?
