Thanks.

There are no other lights on the OOMA (other than some activity on the Ethernet port connection).

Note that I also tried the technique you described here:
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=12491#p87492

No luck though.

If that is the case, the bootloader is stuck or failed, there is little or no hope.

Cheers.

From time to time I see inoperative Ooma devices being sold on E-bay.

I am always surprised to see the relativity high prices being paid for an Ooma Telo or Ooma Hub that doesn't work or is just plan dead.

You might consider selling your inoperative Ooma device on E-bay? Who knows, you may be surprised.

That is a bad idea to sell this product. This product is useless unless a miracle happens. I personally wouldn't sell this product. Ooma have to be willing to exchange it for a refurbish one at least .
That is all part of the customer satisfaction.

It was just a thought.

The people on E-bay that are selling their defective Ooma devices, do say that the product is inoperative and non functional.

There is some reason why people would purchase known defective Ooma devices???

I understand where you are coming from. Thanks for the suggestion. Who knows what people are willing to purchase.

It's sometimes amazing how much you can get for broken stuff on eBay.

I sold a Zune and got $20 or so. Phones also do well.

I think it's mostly for the screen and glass. If they're not broken, they're costly and frequent parts to replace.

Can't see the benefit to a Ooma though.

My most surprising eBay sale was a "Andre the Giant" action figure I got in a Woot BOC. I was going to trash it, but eBay was offering a free listing (rare at the time), so I listed it. Got $9!!! Amazing.

I've wondered if someone has an inside track and knows of a way to sell defective Ooma Telos to the refurbish people? ;)
