How can I make outgoing business calls on my secondary number so that the caller ID shows the secondary number, not my primary number?

Assign that number to the Scout.

I've learned a lot here... two months ago I didn't even know how to spell VOIP and now I are one.

Assuming that both your primary and secondary numbers are ooma numbers and assuming that you are making the calls from your primary number phone, dial **1 before dialing out. That will place the call on your secondary number.
