Page key won't respond

Post by Atulb » Sun Apr 15, 2012 8:06 am

I am trying to connect a new telo handset to ooma telo. I have the PIN.

The instructions say to press and hold the top right 'page' key for 3 seconds until it starts to flash. I tried it many times but the icon never flashes. I have rebooted several times (by disconnecting the power) and have done a reset by dialing *#*#099, with no success. Any suggestions?

Hold the button until a female voice tells you registration mode is enabled.

I held the button/icon for over 60 seconds and nothing happens.

Press the top left button. Does it speak the volume level? Silent, 1, 2, 3, 4 in sequence.
What firmware version do you have?

Murphy - Thanks for your help!

The speaker icon does speak. How do I find out the firmware version. I have just connected a laptop to the home network port at the back and am accesing the ooma setup page but don't see the firmware version.

I see version - 52474 next to my phone number. Is this the firmware version?

Yes, 52474 is the latest release.
Press and hold the envelope key. Does it speak?

yes it cycles through 'do not distrub - on and off'.

Does a quick press and release of the antenna key (upper right corner) say anything?
