Premier Voicemail forwarding doesn't forward name
I'm a premier member and use voicemail forwarding to forward all my voicemails to my work email account as MP3 attachements. The subject line never includes the callers name - just their number - even though my call logs on My Ooma, and the caller id on my phone all show the caller's name. Does anyone know a way to get the caller's name to appear in the forwarded emails? This would save me time so I can pick and choose who to call back based on recognition of their name.
Example voicemail forwarded email subject line: New VM from 651xxxxxxx (56 sec)
~~ no mention of caller id name in subject or body of email

Re: Premier Voicemail forwarding doesn't forward name
Got a response from the Director of Ooma Customer Operations -- now just need to see how long "near future" means --
Hello Dan,
Thanks for the feedback. We are planning on adding the caller's name to the subject line of the e-mailed message, so you can more easily tell who left you a voicemail. We hope to have this implemented in the near future.
We do appreciate your feedback.
Sincerely,
Roy Calvo

Re: Premier Voicemail forwarding doesn't forward name
We've filed bug 13738 to add this feature. The subject line will take the format (when caller-ID name is available):
New VM from <caller-ID name> [<number>] (<duration> sec)
Example:
New VM from SMITH JOHN [6505551234] (6 sec)
Update: I forgot to mention one limitation: We won't be able to dip the contact list in this first phase, so the caller-ID name info will always come from the incoming carrier.
