How rigid is the 32-character suggested length of the WPA2/PSK passphrase?
The reason I ask is that I had the Ooma Telo working wirelessly earlier today; but now I can't get it to work wirelessly (it works fine wired). My WPA2/PSK passphrase to my Linksys WRT54G router is 36 characters in length.
Do you think the artificial 32-character limitation on WPA2/PSK passphrases is a hard limit or is it a softer suggestion?

After six long hours, I finally got the Ooma Telo to work wirelessly with my Linksys WRT54G router.
The trick was to ignore the port forwarding and static IP suggestions from the Ooma support team (more details here).
The result is that a >32 character WPA2/PSK passphrase 'does' work, despite what the Ooma web site says.
I'll test it out more fully tomorrow - but I was able, finally, after six hours of attempts, to get the Ooma Telo working wirelessly.
