Can you turn the ringer on the hub off?

Post by Shell » Fri May 15, 2009 6:12 pm

I see in the lounge you can change the ring pattern but how about just turning it off? I don't need the hub to ring when the phones already do but I don't want to turn the sound on the hub all the way down because I would just have to turn it back up to hear voicemails.

The hub doesn't ring. The ring pattern selections are for your phone. I have my fax machine hooked to the hub and I have it set to ring 2 long rings. The fax machine recognizes that pattern and answers after 2 rings.

oh lol boy do I feel silly after I read that I checked because I know something was ringing besides my handsets it was the main base for my phones. It has a different ring than the phones so I thought it was the hub ringing. Thanks for the info.

You did cause me to disconnect my phones to see if my hub actually rang! lol!
Didn't think I've ever heard it ring!
