no light light up on Ooma unit

Hi,
I just brought a new Ooma Telo unit from Amazon.
When I plug in the power, none of the light light up on the unit. (no red, blue white light)
DoI have a defective unit or is there a way to reset the unit so the light can light up?

The only light is blinking is the ethernet port.

On the face of the Ooma Telo, top row, middle symbol, controls the brightness level from off to number 4. press the light symbol for desired light intensity.
