It's just a rather unusual experience without them. Whenever I'm on an automated phone system menu and they say "press 1 to talk to..." or "enter your conference id" it's weird that I don't hear any sort of audio feedback like a keypress beep to confirm the phone actually registered my button press.
Ooma, if this doesn't exist already, this would be a super nice feature to add...
A bug is open to add clicks when offhook.
Is there a good way to report these issues to the dev team?
I have a similar issue. I can dial out and use the phone with no issues, BUT I don't get a dial tone nor do I hear keys when I press them. I basically just pick up the handset or hit speaker, and then dial without dialtone or key press sounds. It's very aggravating. Is this part of the same bug?
I pressed speaker on my DP1, and waited. After several seconds, I DID get a dialtone, but I did not get any key press sounds when dialing while on speaker.
With the handset, I don't get a dialtone nor key press sounds.
I called support, they were clueless as to why this changed.
